Caran d'Ache Eco Gouache contains 80% natural ingredients, except for the fluorescent colors, and is solvent and allergen-free. The range consists of 18 opaque colors in either 250ml or 500ml, each with a high pigment concentration and strong covering power. Even when diluted, these paints dry to a matte, opaque finish. They have a thick, soft consistency and are easy to apply. Although they are a student quality range, Eco Gouache colors have good lightfastness and can be used on a wide variety of surfaces, from paper and cardboard to wood and salt dough. They can be cleaned easily with soapy water.
The paints can be used straight from the bottle or diluted before use. A 500ml bottle of paint can be diluted with up to 2 liters of water while still offering strong color and covering properties.
These vibrant water-based paints are manufactured in Switzerland from 80% natural ingredients. The packaging also consists of recycled cartons from Switzerland, while the bottles are made of polyethylene terephthalate, a recycled and recyclable plastic.
