Jo Sonja Flow Medium is an acrylic medium used to thin Jo Sonja Artists’ Colours, Background Colours, and other Jo Sonja mediums for smoother paint application. It is particularly useful for techniques that require a finer consistency, such as detail painting, linework, airbrushing, and smooth basecoating.
It helps adjust paint flow without relying on too much water, which can weaken coverage and adhesion on some surfaces. Flow Medium can also be used when a smoother coat is needed on surfaces, including metal, and while it improves flow, it also extends drying time, so extra drying time should be allowed before varnishing.
