Exactly what I expected it to be.

Really pleased with this box can hold a large selection of colours and the lid pallet is a useable size for washes

A good box and lots of space for a studio setup, yet a good size to be portable

Good strong attractive box. I prefer metal to plastic as it doesn’t stain and feels more serviceable.

Mine got rusted in no time..very poor quality

I think the spaces are a little large to secure the half pans, I haven't used it as yet, so we will see if they hold whilst using them to paint.

Product was everything that I expected so very happy with it.

2nd metal box as paint holders on old one went rusty and the rust was getting into the paint. Will take better care of this one

Unfortunately the lid of the tin got a little dented in post. It pushed out from the inside but being a double skin, the outside is slightly marred. I wouldn't have picked this particular tin had I been choosing it from a shop display.

Great product. I searched everywhere in Australia but could not find such a product and sourced it overseas. Guess the plein air watercolour tradition isn't very strong here. Good price and reasonable postage. I say this because.... I initially attempted to buy this in the US due to the favourable exchange rate. I submitted the order successfully online but heard nothing thereafter. After following up, received an email from their store in the EU. I have no idea why my order was transferred there. The order was converted from US dollars to Euros. I initially had ordered a empty box that could fit 12 full pans. Same brand as I bought through Jackson's. The item was 11 euros and the postage 42 euros - roughly 33 pounds. And apparently this was the cheapest. Crazy. I live in Australia this seemed ridiculous. I wasn't buying anything but the box and empty pans. Needless, to say, was not impressed. Can't wait to test it out during my next painting trip. Thanks

Empty watercolour boxes are hard to come by and this is the second one I have bought from jacksons. I would like a better quality more sturdy box that I would be happy to pay more for but meanwhile I will buy these!

Good is a bit too highly marked but its not poor. I wish there was an empty watercolour box on the market, this size but good quality. This is the second one of these that I have had and they are thin and the lid stains. However, except for one at Cornellisons at over £200! there doesn't seem to be anything else on the market.
