Daniel Smith Half Pans offer a practical and compact way of working with Daniel Smith's world renowned watercolours.

Daniel Smith 12 Half Pan Inspiration set contains a selection of bright and rich colours to inspire artists. It also includes 12 extra empty half pans, ready for filling with your favourite colours.

Often preferred by painters for field sketches, journals, and plein air painting, Daniel Smith Half Pan sets contain 4 large paint mixing wells in the lid, while the fold out section has 8 smaller wells. The middle half pan holder section is removable and beneath it are 7 more mixing wells for a total of 19.

The inside is painted with a white enamel for easy clean up. There is also space between the two rows of half pans to keep a small brush. There is also a finger ring underneath so you don't have to grip the metal box when painting.

Included with each set is a handy waterproof map of the colours, their properties, and their location in the box.
