Brilliant little brush. It is quite small but holds loads of water and paint and you can get the thinnest lines even though it is a mop brush. Would definitely recommend this. (Posté le 08/04/2018)

I got a #4 that makes a good point. This #0 doesn't. I tried using gum arabic but it doesn't work, the brush was just not formed right. The QA of Isabey may be declining.

I decided to get a Da Vinci #2 to replace it, the size is about the same and it is excellent, it makes a needle point. Purchased another one to give as a gift to a friend and it was also excellent. (Posté le 02/09/2017)

My first Isabey brush. Superb tool, holds LOTS of water and pigment. The squirrel hair is very soft, and spring back soooo smoothly... I don't know how I paint before of having this brush. I will cop all the range! (Posté le 10/07/2017)

Having received the above information from Jacksons I bought the Isabey Mop brush and I am very pleased that I did. There are, of course some excellent British brushes of the same type but this one is claimed to be the ultimate quality and I agree. (Posté le 16/03/2017)

This is my fourth Isabey Squirrel Quill. Need I say more! First I bought the tiny travel one that I use for small plein aire sketches. Wow, what a load it holds! Then I jumped to #8 for big splashy washes. I'm still getting used to this one. Then I found Jacksons and it's excellent prices, so I bought size 2. It is my go to brush for almo

st every kind of stroke, even dry brush. I had a synthetic Princeton #4 quill which was OK but I just love the handles on the Isabeys, the way they taper down from a fatter shape, and of course it's holding load and very sharp point. So now the Princeton is replaced with my new size 4 Isabey. (Posté le 03/10/2015)
