Awagami Masa Japanese Paper is a very high quality, tear-resistant Washi paper which is ideal for drawing, printing, calligraphy, pastel, watercolour and oil.
Kitakata has a subtle gloss and a soft surface, with 4 deckle edges. Japanese washi primarily composed of Gampi fibre (90%) with Alpha Cellulose (10%).
Shiramine is a versatile paper for many art mediums including printmaking, painting, drawing, embossing, and mixed-media. It has 2 distinct textures: a front smooth side contrasted by a more organic textured back side (both of which may be used). 55% Alpha Cellulose / 30% Kozo / 15% Hemp.
Awagami are a sixth-generation family-run Japanese paper mill that make papers from traditional natural fibres: Kozo and Gampi, as well as non-tree fibres such as Bamboo, Cotton, and Hemp.
