Belle Arti's flawlessly primed linen and cottons are made in such a way that will prevent peeling, flaking or cracking of paint that is applied. This means that the surface is stretchable yet stable, qualities which are very important when producing artwork on a larger scale. This canvas is primed to be ideally used with oil paint, however can also be used with egg tempera.
