Smooth and consistent
A consistent, silky graphite that produces a very even tone, so excellent if you like having a lot of control over effects. It doesn’t have the dynamism and glide of a Japanese pencil like Tombow or Hi Uni, so if you need an expressive tonal range you’ll need more than one pencil (worth bearing in mind given the cost!). Nice in the hand and the colour-coded varnish is a neat touch. All in all, a bit niche but a high quality niche at that.
