Corri-Cor Mark 3 is made with more rigid double corrugated board and has the added benefit of a water-resistant coating on the back to protect the artwork from moisture. Brown both sides with a waxed back. Corrugated board with brown kraft paper liner on both sides and a unique structure that makes it both lightweight and dependably rigid. Gently bowed to keep the artwork flat and buffered with calcium carbonate for a neutral pH value.

Easy to cut and is perfect for backing framed paintings. The water resistant part is useful, many galleries are in old buildings which are often damp.

Sized on one side it is basically cardboard without the corrugation in the middle, it is lightweight, strong and cheap. You can cut it very easily which is part of the reason I buy it, and you can use it for any resonably sized artwork you would wish with it being A1.

I like the fact that it's acid free, water-resistant, slightly bowed & light weight which is perfect for backing board. I would have liked it even more if it was just a bit more rigid/stronger for other uses as well, but I suppose it does what it's designed to do and does it very well at that!

I use these as a stiff backing board for my mounted prints that are then wrapped in cellophane. These are a cost effective solution especially as they have a ph neutral buffer. The only problem I have is that I have to bend the curve out of them slightly to make them flat. The curve of course is perfect for there use as a frame backing.

This looks good but I haven't used it yet. I bought it to back mounted prints that go in cellophane wrapping. For this purpose it would be good if it were not bent but I can see the advantage when this is used as a frame back. I am still looking for a cheap stiff backing for selling unframed mounted prints.
