Daler-Rowney Self Adhesive Mountboard is coated on one face with sticky, pressure-sensitive adhesive, protected with a release paper. This is ideal for mounting many kinds of medium to heavyweight paper, prints, and photographs (lightweight paper may not stay in place).
Simply fold back the 1cm (0.5in) strip of the release paper along one edge, then carefully position the item to be mounted.
Daler-Rowney Self Adhesive Boards are similar to other Daler-Rowney Mountboards but feature one surface coated with adhesive, protected with a release paper. The mounting board includes three basic components: the surface paper, the core, and the backing paper. The core and the backing papers contain alkaline fillers to enhance their lifespan by minimizing the effect of atmospheric pollutants.

Terrible quality - not like it used to be. Artwork bubbled after mounting.
I have been using this product to stick my fabric paintings to for years. However, this last batch of board is very poor quality adhesive. Just a day or two after using it my fabric came away in small bubbles of a few mm in various patches all over the 45 x 45 cm artwork. I rollered it again but no, the same areas bubbled up. Initially all looked as normal, lovely and smooth but after a while the bubbles appeared. I also had one framed piece returned by a gallery as the work had bubbled up after framing and being in the gallery for a week. This is very poor quality and for a professional who has been using it for years, very disappointing. I cannot chance using it again as having work returned from a gallery is not good for my reputation or longevity of the framed piece. What has happened to this once good product I wonder? Very poor adhesion qualities. I will not buy it again.
