Holbein Heavy Body Acrylic Paint is a range of professional acrylics made using the best quality traditional and modern pigments available. The carefully researched formulation offers superior covering power, a longer working time, clean mixing, and excellent lightfastness. Colours have been specifically designed to bring lustre and a vivid intensity and brilliance to your work.
Holbein acrylics have a unique texture similar to extra fine oil paints and have a smooth, highly brushable consistency that will retain peaks, ridges and texture when applied in thick applications. Colours can also be thinned with water for vibrant washes and subtle blending techniques.
This high quality range also includes a series of modern Luminous and Pearl colours. The Luminous series has been formulated using fluorescent dyes and fugitive pigments for high chroma and brilliance particularly suited to digital and printed reproduction projects.
