This is my fourth Isabey Squirrel Quill. Need I say more! First I bought the tiny travel one that I use for small plein aire sketches. Wow, what a load it holds! Then I jumped to #8 for big splashy washes. I'm still getting used to this one. Then I found Jacksons and it's excellent prices, so I bought size 2. It is my go to brush for almo st every kind of stroke, even dry brush. I had a synthetic Princeton #4 quill which was OK but I just love the handles on the Isabeys, the way they taper down from a fatter shape, and of course it's holding load and very sharp point. So now the Princeton is replaced with my new size 4 Isabey.
