IUILE Shiny Fairy Dust Colourshift Dot Cards are handmade with a selection of generously sized samples for the user to test and explore this range of iridescent watercolours.
IUILE Shiny Fairy Dust Colourshift Watercolour Paints are handcrafted, clear-based iridescent watercolour paints that produce a multicoloured effect which will change depending on the viewing angle and light. They will show a colourshift effect of 2 to 3 colours once activated.
The effect is activated by applying a small amount of water directly to the pan and waiting 3 to 5 minutes before applying the paint to a surface. Colourshift paints work particularly well on black watercolour paper but can also be used on white paper. Stonehenge Aqua Black Watercolour Pads are an ideal surface for Shiny Fairy Dust Watercolours.
Each half pan is displayed with a handpainted sample of the colour, and densely packed with paint for long-lasting usage. Additionally, every pan is equipped with a magnetic base to ensure that pans stay in place on metal surfaces.
IUILE only use high quality, cosmetic grade powders and vegan recipes. Their products are AP-ACMI certified non-toxic and safe for use, including for children. As IUILE do not use any preservatives in their products, wet paints must be fully dried before being stored away to avoid mould forming.

Pretty
These paints are so darn pretty, it hurts how much the full pans cost. At least the dot card has a generous amount so you get a real taste to see whether you wish to invest further. When activated, the texture of the paint from the dot card is a bit odd (like sticking your paint brush in jelly, almost) but it spreads out on paper just fine. Pigment can be spread thin, so it's like pixie dust, or can be packed on to be opaque. Works well over other base colours too.
