Review
The Academy oil board provides a fine grain surface that is excellent to paint on. The stiff board backing is very solid, so altogether a good buy.. The size I had, 30" x 24", provides the only way to get a good 24" square board, which can be achieved from it with patience and a sharp knife. This way the discontinued Winsor & Newton 60 cm square board can be replaced.
