Pretty good brush with a fine point that snaps back. I don't need a small fine brush in my portable sketching kit anymore, since this one covers a wide range of use. (We'll see how long the point stays this neat.) I have an average-sized woman's hand and haven't found the handle size problematic at all. It's about as thick as a chunky fountain pen – thicker than a typical brush of this size, but still quite comfortable to use.

I love this and have ordered the retractable sable now also, I hope Jacksons expand the range and provide more brush shapes. I love the handle size on these even just for normal at home painting as I find them easier to hold as they don't taper away - good for those of us with grip problems. Will likely purchase a spare at some point.

One of my favourite brushes. It keeps a lot of colour and water, and has a great flow. Definitely recommend. Great for travel, but I use it all the time anyway.

This is a really nice travel brush. I prefer the nylon to sable as it's a little stiffer. The handle is a bit unwieldy and it's quite large to use if you have small hands, I actually use it without posting the handle. If you have larger hands this is for you. Fellow gnomes might prefer the size 4 which is more comfortable.
