The Onyx is a stiff haired, short handled synthetic brush which has a great spring, holds it shape incredibly well and has a good color holding capacity. A smooth, versatile brush that glides with paint, it is best used with heavy body or fluid paint. It is firm yet flexible and has a lovely silky texture when working with it. It is perfect for both precision work and looser styles. Ideal for acrylic painting but can also be used with oils.
Please note that this synthetic brush does not contain any animal products, either in the varnish, bristles, paint or glue.

This is a wonderful little brush! I had previously purchased the 3/8" bright, and loved the precise crisp marks, so decided to try the round. Is it just me, or does it seem impossible to find a good pointy round that keeps a point!? I've been so pleased with how well it holds a point, and it works beautifully with oils. Load her up and she just easily flows across the canvas. This is the one I'm always reaching for...and I have loads of brushes (artist by profession). I will be purchasing more! I wish these were available in more shapes and on long handles. Definitely worth purchasing.
