The 115gsm (4oz) traditional medium texture weave cotton used on these Premium Cotton Canvas Boards is suitable for oil and acrylic painting - from thin washes to thick impasto marks, and is universally primed to 240gsm (7oz) to protect the natural fibres of the cotton. Each board is 4mm thick and extremely rigid, with the canvas wrapped around the edges and glued to compressed cardboard.

Very neat, already primed and ready for use. Good quality, and the perfect size for my needs.

I've used these boards before and they've been okay. This second batch I've just had are very poorly made with roughly turned corners and patchy uneven priming which often has lumps. The surface of the canvas is also not good. Okay they ARE cheap and they'll just about do the job but.......!
