I originally purchased these to use with ink but wasn't a fan of how they handled diluted ink. I had put them aside but recently reached for them while painting with gouache and I've found them perfect for this medium, especially when working in thicker layers. This pack is great value for a good selection of brush sizes--perfect for working in an A6 sketchbook (I use a bigger watercolour brush to do a watery block in first and then refine using thicker layers with these brushes).
