Liquitex Glass Medium can be mixed with acrylic colour to create a smooth, high gloss finish that adheres to non-porous surfaces like glass, ceramic, and porcelain. When heat set, it creates a glossy, scratch resistant surface. This lightfast and archival medium helps to extend colour without affecting stability and slows drying time to help you create more subtle blends. It is flexible and non-cracking and is water-resistant when dry. Liquitex Glass Medium is fully compatible with all Liquitex materials.

How to use: The glass medium works best with soft body acrylic and acrylic ink. Stir the medium slowly into acrylic colour, using no more than 10% paint to 90% medium. Leave to dry completely before heat setting (curing). Cure in the oven for 30 minutes at 300°F/150°C.

Do not thin with water. If foam appears when stirring, leave the mix to sit while the bubbles rise and disappear.
