Very sturdy and well made table easel. Using it for cintiq drawing tablet which is causing back and neck pain. This seems to be helping immensely so far.

Wow, this thing is fantastic. Very sturdy, very stable, perfectly balanced, made from beautiful quality wood which has been carefully finished with all the hard edges chamfered off so it's smooth and comfortable to handle. You don't get this attention to detail on cheap easels. The rubber feet really do grip the table better than I imagined possible. A previous review suggests it won't clamp canvases smaller than 53cm, but all you have to do is take the central bar out and put it back in the other way up, then it will fit canvases as small as you like – down to about 2 inches! I love this easel and think it's a fantastic investment – it looks like it's built to last a lifetime.

Well made. Stronger than I expected. Copes well with my lightweight board but heavy mdf is too heavy when it's tilted. Couldn't really have expected it to hold up. Can stand up to paint as it raises up high enough. Would recommend.

The M31 table easel is very stable with rubber feet that prevent slipping. It will take larger canvases which is why I purchased it. However, if your canvas is less than 53cm high it will not make contact with the top holding bar. I don't find this a problem but some people may.

I have renamed it my Stable Easel! It is quite the best table easel I have come across because not only is it portable and takes a decent size canvas but remains stable no matter how exuberant the brushwork!
