Marabu Textil Painters are water-based fabric pens ideal for a wide range of art and craft projects. They are suitable for almost all light-colored, non-finished textiles that are free from dressing. After fixing, the color is lightfast, wash-resistant up to 60 °C, and remains soft to the touch. The pen features a capillary system, so no activation is required.
Marabu Textil Painters are available with two tip widths and can be used alongside Marabu Textil. When used as an outline pen, they can be combined with Marabu Textil and Textil Plus, provided the fixing instructions are followed carefully. Dark shades are also suitable for painting over Textil and Textil Plus.
All textiles must be free from proofing and softening agents before use. Allow the design to dry for approximately 30 minutes, then fix by ironing for around 3 minutes per area of 30 x 30cm. Use the iron on the cotton setting without steam. Fixing is also possible in the oven at 150 °C for approximately 8 minutes, except for synthetic and blended woven fabrics.
