This Dammar Varnish is made from dammar resin which has been dissolved in double rectified maritime turpentine and carefully filtered. It is a versatile final picture varnish which can be applied to thoroughly dry oil paint. Please note that a 6 month drying for normal oil paintings is a minimum; you should allow up to one year if the oil paint is very thick.
This varnish has a subtle gloss finish and can be used with opaque and semi-opaque colors.
This tin contains 250ml of Dammar Varnish. Please note, this product is hazardous and cannot be sent by air-mail. Some European destinations are available by road at an increased shipping cost.
