High quality Swiss made carving tools suitable for either lino or wood cutting. Each tool is made from chrome vanadium steel, precisely forged, sharpened and polished for excellent results. Palm-handles are made of hardwood from ecologically managed Swiss forests.
Full bolster and square tang for optimal stability. Internal steel ferrule under bolster prevents handle from splitting. Tools are hardened to edge of bevel. Blades electronically hardened to exacting tolerances.

Excellent carving tools
I bought these (set C), hoping they'd be good. I create linocuts and have used the Speedball cutters for years. Sorry, Speedball. I love you, but I am not going back. These slice through linoleum and vinyl like butter. Are they pricey? Yes, but when I started thinking about how many blades I go through with the Speedball, I could justify buying them. Now, the problem is I want another set. The Pfeil carving tools are much better than I could have hoped for

Went from using cheap speedball cutters to these and the difference is immense. These cut effortlessly and cleanly. No ragged edges whatsoever if you care for these tools. Will continue to add to my Pfeil collection.

Absolutely amazing tools. It is always worth getting the best tools for sports and hobbies. Otherwise you waste money on less expensive "settle for" items and just end up having to upgrade later anyway. I'm astounded at the speed of delivery from the UK to the west coast of the United States. Less than a week to get here via Fedex. That's faster than my favorite U.S art stores.

These tools are superb...they are expensive because they are quality tools and make a difference. I view them as an investment. With Lino cutting it’s great to have a tool for various size grooves instead of having to swap heads. Am very pleased with these.
