The Pro Arte Series 45 Sablesque Blended Mop brush is made from a blend of synthetic and natural animal hair, all finished in a traditional wire mop style. As prices of animal hair increase, Pro Arte sought to make a brush with the performance of a natural hair brush but with alternative materials. Made with a blend of natural and synthetic hair, this brush gives the performance of a sable but with the durability of a synthetic. It looks, feels and works like a traditonal sable but at an affortable price.
This brush has a great belly and holds an excellent amount of color, making it perfect for watercolorists who like to work on a large scale or who favour bold strokes of color. This brush also has a nice fine point, allowing you to create details.

Review
I was hesitant to get this brush because of the lack of reviews but it turns out to be a good choice. The bristles form a nice belly after you rinse off the protective glue. It holds ample amount of water due to the red sable hair content. I've never had a sable brush before so this is my first experience with this type of hair, I'm very pleased . In comparison to the Jackson's Icon brush size 10/0 , it does not have as nice of a point or hold shape as well but its water capacity is much more impressive. I will order some bigger size in future.
