The water-based, high-quality aqua-Linoprint colors contain natural binders such as gum Arabic as well as organic/inorganic pigments. They are easy to apply due to optimum open-times and result in even, sharp prints with fast drying times (wipe-resistant after approx. 15 minutes).
All colors offer maximum light fastness (4 and 5 stars) and an excellent intensity (especially black). The formulation for the colors in tubes and jars is the same. Due to its fluid consistency all aqua-Linoprint colors can easily be applied to different surfaces such as paper, felt, cardboard and suitable also for wood engraving and printing with various materials.
The smooth colors are of pleasant odour and can be overprinted with other colors. They are intermixable, ready to use and can be diluted with water.

A nice dark black ink. I was only printing in this colour and the prints were so small, so not really a proper test, but the ink was great for my greetings card project. The ink did not dry too soon, which was what I was worried about; but it did dry soon enough, unlike the oil-based ink I had used previously, which did not dry until many months had passed! I needed to use more of this water-based ink than the oil-based ink, but not outrageously so.
