Speedball : Mid-Fire Glaze : 473ml : Wisteria

Speedball Mid-Fire Glazes have been developed in partnership with ceramic artist Nancy Sowder. They are available in a range of 30 colors for creating decorative mottled and reduction-like effects for pottery and ceramic works, as well as for sealing the clay body to make it waterproof and food-safe.

The Speedball Mid-Fire Glazes can be used on their own, or layered with other colors to create interesting variations. They can be applied by pouring, brushing, or dipping. Once dry, the work can be fired at Cone 5/6. Results may vary based on individual application methods and firing techniques. It is recommended to create a test piece as a visual reference. For consistent results, cool all colors on a normal cooling cycle.

Wisteria is a dreamy even toned lavender with a satin to matte finish. When fired at Cone 5 this glaze gives a full matte finish. Wisteria will assuredly bring a higher level of sophistication to any surface but is not recommended for dark clay bodies.
