Review
I bought this paper for coloured pencil work - the surface is great at retaining pigment, allowing for multiple layers of colour without flaking. At first it felt a little like drawing on sandpaper - the rough surface really 'grabs' the pencil and the colours lay down very strong and bright, which meant I had to modify my technique and be more delicate in my application. However, it was worth it to know that my drawing could be built up over multiple layers without flaking of the pencil or buckling of the paper. The surface is also uniform, meaning there are were no unexpected 'bumps' or patches of roughness to interfere with my drawing.
