I have very mixed feelings about this product. From one side it gives nice grey/silver tint to the sketches, but from the other it can not produce smooth washes (for sky or sea if you need). Better to use for shading of a small subject, diluted lines, and an add on for a pencil or a pen Also, do not add water to the lid, as I did. It will cause rust and the will be close to impossible to open
