I normally find that the Winsor and Newton oil paint range to be of a high quality, however compared to other brands on the market the oil content is much greater and harder to work with. This was obvious with this cobalt paint especially, I’ve found that the texture was far too viscous to layer in anything other than a glaze. The finish is also very plasticky and stands out from the other paints I am using. I won’t be buying this particular paint again.
