Art Spectrum: Australian Fine Art Materials
Art Spectrum, established in Melbourne in the early 1960s, is a family-owned company known for producing fine artists' materials in Australia.
Founded by artist and RMIT lecturer David Keys Snr., the brand has grown into Australia's leading fine art supplier, celebrated for its commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
Art Spectrum creates an extensive range of professional art products, including oil paint, watercolour, soft pastel, pastel primer and more. Using traditional manufacturing methods and top quality permanent, lightfast pigments, Art Spectrum colours are known for their brilliance, intensity, and durability.
The company is also popular for its unique range of Australian colours, reflecting the vibrant and diverse landscape of the country.
In addition to its paints and colours, Art Spectrum offers a comprehensive range of tools and surfaces. This includes the popular Colourfix™ pastel paper, which has a durable and natural toothy surface ideal for a variety of wet and dry media.
Proudly 100% Australian-made, Art Spectrum remains a family-run business, now led by David Keys Jnr. and his partner Tamara. With a dedication to excellence, Art Spectrum continues to be the top choice for artists.
