Tri-Art : Sludge : Thin : 500ml

Tri-Art Sludge is an acrylic paint made from precipitated solids recovered from the wash water produced during acrylic paint manufacturing. These solids consist mainly of assorted pigments, additives such as calcium carbonate, coloured Mylar and matting agents, and dried acrylic particulate, which provide the product’s colour. It is made with 100% acrylic emulsion, is semi-opaque, and has a lightly toothy texture.

Sludge handles in a similar way to regular acrylic paint and can be used as a paint, primer, or painting medium. Thick Sludge has texture-holding properties comparable to heavy body acrylic, while Thin Sludge is closer in consistency to fluid acrylic.

Please note, no two batches are identical, so Tri-Art identifies each edition by its batch number rather than assigning a colour name.

Sludge is available as a Gesso and in Thick and Thin formats.
