Info
The Nano Satchel is a quick assemble drawing platform designed by Australian artist and designer Darren Yeow. Perfect for artists who use a range of art materials but want to travel light and sketch on the go. Suitable for both left and right-handed artists, this bag enables you to draw while standing, walking, or sitting.
The Nano Satchel uses a water-repellent polyester external material that has some water resistance. However, it is not as water-resistant as the Art Satchel, Field Case, or Slate Range - these products use more expensive materials and components that are better suited to extreme weather.
The Nano Satchel comes with a built-in elastic Tool Strip and a Shoulder Strap. Designed for use with A5 or smaller surfaces.

Fantastic Addition
I already love the Slate Mini, however even though it's called the mini, it can be pretty weighty for quick blasts out. This nano satchel is perfect for those quick blasts of outdoor sketching. It's A5 size, with enough room for a standard size A5 sketch book, fineliners and a few coloured pencils. I've also fit inside mine a 12 pan watercolour palette, a pop up water container and a few travel brushes. Like the Slate mini, you can carry it cross body and by the handle and you can position it to sit open, at your waist for when you're stood outside drawing or painting. As stated in the description, it is not made with the exact same toughened and waterproof fabrics as the Slates, and the price reflects this but I have been out in light rain with no issue. I also love the soft, Slate colour shade of blue it is and the embroidered Etchr logo is more standout than the Slate range. I highly recommend this nano for anyone wanting to try the Etchr brand or for anyone who is maybe wanting to get out more to sketch and paint but is maybe a bit nervous of being out with a full set..you can just close, zip and go if you need to leave quickly (lots of artists want to go out but don't want people coming up to them and looking at their work etc is what I mean)
