Peg and Awl Artist Pouches are made from constructed waxed canvas, which originated in the sailing industry in Scotland in the 1920s and became widely used in sportswear and apparel because of its waterproofing abilities and superb durability.
The pouches are beautifully handcrafted, and ideal for carrying, storing and organising pens, pencils and drawing accessories.
Peg and Awl was founded by husband and wife team Margaux and Walter Kent. The Philadelphia-based makers take inspiration from the history and craftsmanship of found treasures, as well as the effect of the passage of time on abandoned objects.
