Info
The Scribbler Pouch is a handcrafted zippable case for carrying and storing pens, pencils and drawing accessories. Made from constructed waxed duck canvas it has a vintage time-worn feel and is based on the material’s origins from the sailing industry in Scotland in the 1920s.
Peg and Awl was founded by husband and wife team Margaux and Walter Kent. The Philadelphia-based makers take inspiration from the history and craftsmanship of found treasures, as well as the effect of the passage of time on abandoned objects. The beautifully handcrafted products are made from natural and often salvaged materials, making each piece unique and a perfect addition to the artists’ studio or plein air toolkit.

Useful and Beautifully Made
A useful pouch for taking urban sketching. The waxed canvas gives better protection than an ordinary pouch. It can carry quite a bit for its small proportions. I can manage a minimalist set up even including a slim travel palette such as an art toolkit or Cornellissens pocket palette, with waterbrush, pencils erasers etc. I tend to use it for a small sketching pouch which has a bit of everything and ready to go. The leather tab could be useful to attach the pouch with a carabiner too. I love the quality of the zips, finishing and attention to detail.
