Al igual que con sus acuarelas, Holbein han producido un gouache de excepcional calidad. Muelen su gouche más fino que otras añadiendo a agentes opacos poca o ninguna a su color. El resultado es una artista/diseñador Gouache sin igual. Los pigmentos utilizados han sido elegidos por saturación de Llegadas y la capacidad de combinar libremente sin pérdida de brillo, opacilty o Matiz valor en combinación con otros colores. Los colores le dará resultados consistentes sin oscurecimiento o emborronar, ellos no sangran o grieta y ofrecer opacidad absoluta cuando se colocan sobre el otro.
