Lenox 100 Fine Art Paper Pads feature 100% cotton paper that is dimensionally stable and has good absorbency. The paper is designed to withstand bold impressions as well as delicate details. It is off-white in colour and has a supple feel equivalent to high quality mould-made European papers.
The subtly textured paper is acid-free, pH-neutral, and designed to be used with graphite, pencil, pastel, and charcoal.
Lenox was the first domestic 100% cotton paper in America to be designed for fine art applications. The founder of Legion, Len Levine, manufactured this paper in order to provide a machine-made-grade paper which had unique attributes and the potential to be used as a substrate for a variety of media.
