Michael Harding: Paints in the Tradition of the Old Masters
Michael Harding has set the standard for traditional oil paints since 1982, producing handcrafted oils known for their exceptional vibrancy, texture, and pigment load.
Inspired by the Old Masters, Michael Harding developed his Handmade Artist Oil Colour range to bring artists the finest colours possible, crafted using only the best ingredients. Michael Harding’s oils are revered for their buttery consistency and intensity, offering a rich, luminous quality that is rarely matched by other paintmakers.
The paint’s high pigment concentration ensures excellent coverage and vibrancy, making it ideal for artists who require superior quality. Additionally, Michael Harding’s range of mediums and varnishes allows artists to customise their techniques and achieve the desired finish in their work.
In 2022, Michael Harding introduced a range of Watercolour Paints which have been carefully developed to the same high standards as his oil colours. He took over twenty years to develop the range, with each pigment researched and formulated to perform to its maximum potential.
With a range of over 130 colours, Michael Harding strived to achieve the same colour intensity and clarity that he developed with his oil paints. At the heart of his approach is his knowledge about the physical properties of colour, which shines through in the paints he creates.
For artists who appreciate the tradition of quality and a commitment to craftsmanship, Michael Harding paints are a perfect choice.
