New Wave: Innovative Tools for Comfortable and Functional Painting
Founded in 2012 by two brothers inspired by their father’s passion for painting, New Wave are dedicated to enhancing the artist's experience.
The idea for their revolutionary New Wave palette was born in an art studio, where their father’s old, awkward, and heavy palettes sparked the creation of a more ergonomic solution. New Wave palettes feature a unique three-point design that evenly distributes weight across the hand, rear forearm and torso, offering artists unparalleled comfort and balance.
The design has been refined over the years to focus on functionality, quality, and ease of use. New Wave palettes are a favourite tool for painters who value comfort during extended creative sessions.
Building on their commitment to innovation, New Wave developed the New Wave u.go Anywhere Pochade Box for plein air painting. Each pochade box is crafted from hand-sanded Baltic Birch and finished with a proprietary wood treatment that is water-resistant, crack-proof, and resistant to artist solvents and mediums. Featuring stainless steel and aluminium accents, the New Wave pochade box combines durability with a sleek, modern design.
New Wave continues to innovate with tools that cater to the unique needs of artists, from their ergonomic wooden palettes to their durable plein air solutions. Trusted by professionals and hobbyists alike, New Wave is redefining the tools of the trade, ensuring that every artist can paint with comfort and confidence.
