The Arches Spiral Bound Travel Book is a premium watercolour pad made with 100% cotton, mould-made paper with a classic cold pressed (NOT) surface. Its medium texture makes it perfect for a variety of watercolour techniques, as well as ink, gouache, and mixed media.
Arches paper is mould-made, 100% cotton, gelatine tub-sized and with a neutral pH. The durable spiral binding and compact format make it ideal for travel and painting on location.
The beauty and quality of Arches watercolour papers make them suitable for gouache, acrylics, oil and ink as well. For more than five centuries, artists around the world have depended upon Arches for optimum quality papers, worthy of their finest work. Its whiteness is natural, obtained without optical brighteners. Sizing is important to watercolour paper - it helps the paper accept washes, scratching and erasing without affecting the actual fibres and strength of the paper. Made in France since 1492.
