Info
Escoda Primera Teijin Synthetic Brushes are made from a special synthetic fibre. A beautiful brush with fine hair and a fine point, with more spring than sable and softer than hog hair. These brushes do not hold as much liquid colour as natural hair brushes, but the fine filaments offer great control. A popular synthetic brush for oil painting and acrylics because of its elasticity, spring, and durability.
When cleaning synthetic brushes that have been used with oil paint it is advisable not to use turpentine as it will start to break down the synthetic filaments within the brush. Instead, we recommend using an odourless/low odour brush cleaner.
