Nitram : Starter Kit

Nitram Starter Kit contains an assortment of four charcoal sticks which are perfect for all types of sketching, from life drawing to nature studies. The kit also features a Nitram Sharpening Bloc ideal for shaping and sharpening charcoal and other drawing media. It has a slim wooden handle and comes with a set of five replacement pads.

The charcoal sticks included in ths kit are H (hard, 5mm) for fine lines, HB (medium, 5mm) for general sketching, B (soft, 5mm) for dark tones, and B+ (extra soft, 6mm) for rich black shading.

Nitram produces its charcoal using a unique process that maintains the wood's cell structure, which increases the charcoal's durability and helps prevent breakage. Nitram charcoal doesn't break like willow or vine does, and feels much less brittle.
