R&F Encaustic Medium is a blend of purified beeswax and damar resin, designed to enhance the transparency, adhesion, and durability of encaustic painting. This medium can be used to extend colours, modify texture, or as a base for encaustic techniques, providing a smooth, workable surface with a natural luminosity.
R&F Encaustic Impasto Modelling Wax is a firm, sculptural wax that retains shape and texture, allowing artists to build up dimensional effects in encaustic painting. With a higher ratio of beeswax to damar resin, this modelling wax offers a thicker, more malleable consistency for carving, sculpting, and layering.
