Derivan Matisse Fluid Mediums Light Modelling Paste is a lightweight acrylic modelling compound for creating raised textures, relief and sculptural effects. Its flexible, non-shrinking formula retains peaks and indentations, drying to an opaque, off-white matt finish with a slightly grainy, absorbent surface.

Apply directly with a palette knife or firm brush, or mix with acrylic paints, inks and pigments to create textured, coloured effects. Suitable for canvas, board and thick paper, its lightweight formula is ideal for building texture without adding excessive weight. It also provides an excellent surface for dry pastels and can be used to create interesting watercolour-style effects.
