Golden : Regular Gel Mediums

Golden Regular Gel Mediums offer artists many ways to build texture in their work. They can be used to create glazes, extend paints and change finishes. Regular Gels come in Gloss, Semi-Gloss, and Matt and have the same viscosity as Heavy Body Acrylic Colours. They are ideal for extending paint and regulating transparency without changing consistency, and also useful for impasto techniques.

Gels can be thought of as colourless paint, as they are composed of 100% acrylic polymers similar to acrylic paint. They can also act as adhesives in collage and mixed media that dry to form continuous films with excellent flexibility with chemical, water and UV resistance.

Please note, Golden place a high priority on the health and safety of the artist's studio and materials. They feel the artists should be aware of any potential hazards, so Golden far surpass the required quantity of health and safety advice on their labels. Their products are not more dangerous, just more fully labelled.
