Hanco offers a range of bespoke modifiers that can be used across their ink ranges. These modifiers can also be used with other traditional ink formulations outside the Hanco ranges.
Hanco Wonder Gel is a gelled petroleum-based oil that has the same function as Hanco Clearset Compound. It is used to soften and reduce the tack of an ink. Wonder Gel will assist in wiping etching ink from the plate and will reduce the tack of lithographic inks without increasing the greasiness. When added to block print inks, it helps prevent soft paper to sticking to the block.
Add between 5 and 10% for most applications.
This product does separate in the can and should be gently mixed in the can before using.
