Colourfix Smooth Pastel Paper is a smoother version of Colourfix Original Papers by Art Spectrum. Like Colourfix Original, it is manufactured by screen printing a Colourfix Primer (in this case Colourfix Smooth) onto a high-quality archival 300gsm hot pressed watercolour paper made in Europe.
This produces a 340gsm pastel paper that is slightly less toothy than Colourfix Original but has enough texture for multiple layers of soft pastel. The paper is sufficiently robust to be used for both dry and wet media including soft pastels, oil colours, acrylics, inks, oil pastels, gouache, watercolours, charcoal, and pencils.
Colourfix Smooth packs are available in 23 colours. These packs of 10 or 20 Colourfix Smooth sheets measure 50x70cm.
