Artools Soft Ball Ground is a traditional wax ground for etching. Soft ground is applied to a warmed degreased plate with a soft cloth or dabber. It can take impressions of found media such as leaves or fabric that will then etch or you can draw onto paper placed on the ground with pencils or other broad points to creat soft lines before etching.
