Awagami papers are made from traditional natural fibres such as Kozo and Gampi as well as Bamboo, Cotton, and Hemp. They are produced at Awagami Factory, a sixth-generation family-run paper mill where traditional methods of making washi sit alongside modern innovations.
Awagami Sekishu is an 80% kozo paper dried against a metal plate, ensuring a very smooth surface. It is recommended for lithography, calligraphy, water-based colours, and pastels. A large sheet with a natural colour and four deckle edges.
