Diarylides are a class of Azo pigments, a large family of synthetic organic colours first introduced at the end of the 19th century. Diarylide Yellow is a semi-opaque artist pigment with a warm orange hue. Its lightfastness is excellent at full strength, but lower in tints and thin glazes.
