Pumice is vesiculated volcanic glass. Its rough texture and weightlessness lends itself to creating texture on paintings, particularly on large canvases. Can be mixed with the following Derivan Matisse mediums up to 30%: Impasto Medium, Gel Medium, Polymer Matt Varnish (Water-based), Polymer Gloss Varnish (Water-based), Polymer Satin Varnish, Matt Gel Medium.
